DESIGN-BUILD DRMI NAVAL POSTGRADUATE SCHOOL

Customer: U.S. Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest Division
Location: Monterey, CA

RMA was the prime contractor for the design and construction of a 2,200 square foot classroom and auditorium building. Our work included full design, geotechnical investigations, surveying, construction of the building foundation, vertical construction, and site utilities to support expansion of the Defense Resource Management Institute (DRMI) Naval Postgraduate School.

The primary features of work included surveying, grading, foundation excavation, slab on grade, retaining wall installation, framing, pre-cast walls, roofing, stucco and plaster, acrylic counter tops, flooring, drywall, texturing, painting, doors and windows, complete installation of two bathrooms, mechanical and plumbing, casework, electrical, fire sprinklers, interior walls, site restoration, and landscaping and irrigation.

The project was completed on time, within the original budget, and received an Outstanding performance evaluation.
