RMA was prime contractor for this small base operating services (Mini BOS) maintenance service contract at the Naval Hospital, Marine Combat Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC), Twentynine Palms. We managed grounds maintenance, facility maintenance, and removal of medical, biomedical, and pharmaceutical waste.

Because this work was performed at an active, occupied hospital, RMA followed stringent performance and quality standards, performed noise control measures for several maintenance tasks, and implemented vital dust controls to minimize disturbance and impacts to hospital occupants.

Our work scope included developing and implementing preventive maintenance plans for emergency generator systems, food service equipment, elevators, fire protection and fire suppression systems, automatic and roll-up doors, and irrigation systems.

RMA regularly serviced and maintained the hospital’s chillers and cooling towers, medical gas equipment, exhaust hoods and ducts, and landscaped grounds. We cleaned stairs, stairwells, and walls; swept paved lots; collected refuse and recycled materials where possible; and performed medical and biomedical waste management.

RMA met all performance objectives, including quality control, safety, and schedule adherence.
