Location: Cleveland National Forest, San Bernardino, CA
RMA was the prime contractor for road paving at various locations in the Cleveland National Forest in San Bernardino County, CA. Work was completed at four locations within the forest: Palomar Station, El Prado Group Camp, Dripping Springs Campground, and the Falcon Group Camp.
Construction activities included saw-cutting/excavation and pulverization of existing asphalt, grading, reconditioning of road bed, placement of aggregate base, hot asphaltic concrete (AC) placement, asphalt surface tracking, patching and sealing with emulsified asphalt, pavement marking/striping, removal and replacement of AC curb, installation of slot drains and backfill with concrete, and fine grading. RMA also installed plumbing and toilets at certain locations.
