RMA provided demolition and repair services, as well as installed windbreak trees, an irrigation system, and electrical power source for timers, for the Marine Corps Ground Air Combat Center, Twentynine Palms Contracting Division. Our scope of work included tree removal, tree trimming, irrigation repairs, installation of a new irrigation system, and planting new trees. Work was completed at various locations of this military installation, including an approximately 25,000-linear-foot tree line.
Scope of work included: site investigation; design alternatives; repairs of mainlines, laterals, and valves; installation of new 3-inch valve assemblies, concrete vaults, battery-operated timers, new trees and irrigation lines; tree trimming, removal and off-site disposal; soil removal and disposal; importation of clean soil; and installation of electrical power supplies.
This project was completed on-time, within budget, and with zero safety incidents, warranty recalls, or rework issues, which led the base to extend RMA’s maintenance contract for an additional two years.
