RMA Land Construction, Inc. (RMA) performed as the prime contractor on the design-build upgrades to the existing athletic field floodlighting standards at Millican Field, Submarine Base, HI. This project required design and installation of new floodlighting circuit breakers, lighting standards, concrete bases, controls, and aerial circuit wiring to enhance user safety on the softball field by upgrading the overall field lighting levels to meet current IES lighting standards.

Because the upgrades were performed in an occupied area, at elevated height, and involving hazardous soil, the risks related with performing work were increasingly high. RMA staffed the project to ensure all standards and practices were monitored and maintained. RMA performed meticulous housekeeping on a daily basis to maintain a neat visual appearance for the field located directly across the main base entrance.
