Roy Mohammad
President & Chief Executive Officer

As CEO and founder of RMA Land Construction, Roy has gained over 28 years of experience in the construction industry, where he has taken RMA from a local landscaping firm to a worldwide federal contractor. Roy's key strengths include his unique ability to build and maintain relationships, and shape the corporate strategic direction. Roy has worked exceptionally hard in developing an organization where creativity is cultivated, innovation is encouraged, and where management is accessible. Roy's efforts have created a company morale that is rare within business and has become one of the Company's most valued assets.

Roy is focused on eight primary goals as CEO:

  • On-going development of RMA’s corporate vision.
  • Defining and maintaining the Company’s culture.
  • Providing leadership to all employees and teams.
  • Establishing and maintaining an effective system of communications throughout the organization and with customers.
  • Setting current and long-term goals, objectives, plans, and policies.
  • Seeking repeat customers and continuing business with current customers and subcontractors.
  • Finding employees who enjoy their work and produce at the quality standards RMA has created.
  • Establishing and maintaining a sound corporate financial structure.

In 2006, Roy was recognized by the Los Angeles SBA as the 8(a) Small Business Person of the year. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for SEBAC and is a member of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME), Los Angeles, Honolulu and Seattle posts, Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), and the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA).

 

  

 

Steve Mohammad
Executive Vice President

Steve has been with RMA since 2002, and with over 20 years of progressive experience, Steve is instrumental to the overall operations and ensuring consistency with the company’s strategic goals and performance targets. With his “finger on the pulse”, Steve ensures proper allocation of resources to efficiently and effectively complete projects, including personnel, financial, technological, informational, and material resources. Steve’s direct involvement in project execution contributes significantly to the fluidity and successful execution of each project. He is also involved in estimating, design and construction, and overseeing all operational aspects of the Company.

Prior to RMA, Steve worked with an environmental firm, Geofon, and since has been involved in all design-build and construction pursuits of RMA. Steve’s knowledge and experience includes design-build, new construction of facilities, environmental remediation, and heavy & civil construction.

As Executive Vice President, Steve is focused on the ensuring that:

  • The company’s strategies are acted upon successfully;
  • Sufficient personnel, financial, technological, informational and material resources are allocated to execute the work; and
  • The necessary organization structure is in place to perform efficiently and effectively.

Steve is a member of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME), Los Angeles and Honolulu Posts, Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) and the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA).
